Sketching Cousteau

Not perfect...just a sketch

Edit: I found a great video inspired by him. Take a look.

Hola! The sketch is great. It lets us fill in the blanks :) The patina of the surface of this adds so much flavour, makes everything so delicate - yet gives it another dimension that we can look into. I like works that gives us surface but also visual depth.

cheers from Oz :)

Muy bueno, Claro. es walk on the wild side.

Thanks a lot, Vanessa. Nice to know you were another Cousteau fan :)
yeah, there are things I wanted to correct but some others I like that's why I posted it as a sketch :P

Hey Ana! You know what I always think? That 'imperfection gives character', and it's exactly what I see in your sketch. It's superb.

By the way, you're right about Geisha, they are real living works of art. And no, I've never watched Sakuran but it sure sounds fascinating! So I'll be ransacking the stores this weekend...hahaa! Cheers! :D

Hola Ana your sketch is very good! Sketching is a vital aspect of every design. It fleshes your ideas out and give you a quick visible reference to things...such as Cousteau ;))

I used to love watching Cousteau on tv when I was a kid, I have some books of his that I look at for inspiration when I want to do an ocean themed painting. Nice job on the sketches!
